1. Agreement to Terms

By engaging Churchill Roofing Coventry Ltd ("we", "us", "our") for roofing services, you ("client", "customer", "you") agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. These terms apply to all quotations, contracts, and services provided.

2. Services Provided

We provide professional roofing services including but not limited to:

• New roof installations (pitched and flat roofs)
• Roof repairs and maintenance
• Chimney repairs and rebuilds
• Guttering installation and repairs
• Emergency roofing services
• Roof inspections and surveys

3. Quotations and Pricing

• All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise specified.
• Prices are fixed for the agreed scope of work and include VAT where applicable.
• Additional work outside the original scope will be quoted separately and requires written approval.
• Emergency call-out charges may apply for urgent repairs outside normal working hours.

4. Payment Terms

• Payment terms are net 14 days from invoice date unless otherwise agreed.
• For larger projects, we may require a deposit of up to 25% before commencing work.
• Final payment is due upon completion and your satisfaction with the work.
• We accept payment by cash, cheque, bank transfer, or card payments.
• Late payment may incur interest charges at 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate.

5. Our Guarantees

• All workmanship is guaranteed for a minimum of 12 months from completion date.
• Materials are guaranteed according to manufacturer specifications.
• We carry full public liability insurance (£2 million) and employer's liability insurance.
• All work is carried out in accordance with British Standards and Building Regulations.
• Guarantee certificates will be provided upon completion of work.

6. Health and Safety

We are committed to maintaining the highest health and safety standards:

• All work is carried out in compliance with CDM Regulations 2015.
• Risk assessments and method statements are prepared for all projects.
• Our team uses appropriate safety equipment and follows safe working practices.
• Clients must ensure safe access to the property and inform us of any hazards.

7. Limitations of Liability

• Our liability is limited to the value of the contract for the specific work undertaken.
• We are not liable for pre-existing defects not identified and agreed to be rectified.
• Weather delays beyond our reasonable control are not grounds for compensation.
• We recommend clients verify our credentials and obtain multiple quotes before engaging our services.

8. Cancellation Policy

• Contracts may be cancelled within 14 days of signing (Consumer Rights Act 2015).
• If work has commenced, reasonable costs for materials and labour may be charged.
• Emergency repairs cannot typically be cancelled once work has begun.
• Weather-related delays do not constitute grounds for cancellation without reasonable compensation.

9. Materials and Waste

• We use quality materials from established suppliers and manufacturers.
• All waste materials will be disposed of responsibly and legally.
• Waste disposal costs are included in our quotations unless otherwise specified.
• Clients may retain any reusable materials by prior arrangement.

10. Data Protection

We collect and process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy. Client information is used solely for service delivery, invoicing, and legitimate business purposes. We do not share personal data with third parties without consent.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by English law. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of English courts. We aim to resolve any issues through discussion and, where necessary, alternative dispute resolution before litigation.
